Sun, Shades, and Disks

Up until 3:30 yesterday I thought I was going to have to work today. This thought might not have been so bad, except that its going to be 85 degrees and sunny all day. I grabbed my boss by the shoulders and yelled repeatedly "Do you realize how many CFC's went into the air to make me this perfect day?!" to which she put on a grimace and shrugged her shoulders. I could almost hear the trombones blaze wah-waaaaaaah.

I decided to take my destiny into my own hands at that point. I started student searching like it was my job to stu... OK well, yes it was my job. I told myself I'd be damned to Hell if I didn't finish by the time I left. In a way I was right, as working in a warehouse on a beautiful Saturday is probably what awaits me in the afterlife.

I am happy to say that, though that eternal fate may wait for me when I have falsely engraved on my tombstone "Died rescuing his friends and family from the wreckage of a burning battleship", today I have a little slice of heaven.

Mix CD and Aroma Joe's morning, followed by a Disk Golf reunion of sorts, capping it off with drinks and excellent food with some dastardly people in Epping this evening. My bosses can take today from me only when they pry it from my cold dead hands. Despite my lack of exclamation points, I am ecstatic.
